Refund Policy

General policy

Due to the nature of professional services, refunds are generally not available once work has begun. Our refund policy is structured as follows.

Before work begins

Full refund available if you cancel before the project kickoff call or before the first deliverable is provided.

After work begins

No refunds once the project has started and deliverables have been provided. This includes strategy sessions, outlines, drafts, or any completed work product.

Educational Email Courses

For Educational Email Course projects, no refund is available once the course strategy, outline, or any course content has been delivered. The value of the service is in the strategic framework and expertise provided, which cannot be returned.

Newsletter retainers

Monthly retainers are billed in advance. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused portions of the current month.

Exceptional circumstances

In cases of genuine emergency or extenuating circumstances, partial refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of Octavia Carney. Requests must be submitted in writing to hello@octaviacarney.com.
